The PHOREVER Project was proudly represented at the 13th Congress of the Hellenic Society of Flow Cytometry, which took place from 2–4 May 2025 at the Olympic Museum in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Our partners, Ioanna Angelioudaki and Agapi Kataki, participated actively in the congress, delivering a lecture during a Satellite Symposium sponsored by SB Bioanalytica. Their presentation focused on the ability of Flow Cytometry to detect extracellular vesicles (EVs), an emerging field of significant diagnostic value, especially for conditions like pancreatic cancer.
The lecture highlighted how flow cytometry, combined with machine learning algorithms, offers new pathways for early and precise diagnostic management, supporting the broader objectives of the PHOREVER Project to push the boundaries of photonic sensing and health innovation.
The Congress, organized under the theme “The Cytometry-Metro in Thessaloniki”, brought together leading experts, researchers, and companies working in cytometry technologies. It served as a platform to exchange knowledge, foster collaboration, and explore the latest advancements in clinical and research applications.
We thank the organizers for hosting such a dynamic event and look forward to continuing to share PHOREVER’s contributions to the scientific community.
